  Wonderful farm and lesson program. I haul in from an hour away with my horse, and it's well worth it. I've ridden with several different instructors through the years, and have had nothing but great experiences with Kelley. She emphasizes on the "all around horse" and encourages students and their horses to be well rounded. She's only cancelled lessons when the weather is bad (she does not have an indoor arena). Would recommend her to anyone from beginner through advanced looking for good instruction in a relaxed atmosphere.

  I have known Kelly personally now for over 23 years and I can tell you that she is the most considerate conscientious and caring person that I have ever met. Her compassion for the rider and horses is unsurpassed. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking to get into horseback riding or has been riding for some time and would like to start showing. She starts Riders from the very beginning learning how to brush , groom and tack up the horse, along with learning riding skills. She makes the lessons fun and you don't even realize that you're learning something new. She teaches children as young as three years old up to senior riders that are in their 70s. If you're looking for a fun drama-free place to ride Mikell Farm is definitely it.
